Icon System
The design of this icon system began with extensive study of the form of a book through sketching and analytical drawings. A desirable perspective was chosen for the book and marker sketches of icon ideas were created from this view. A woodcut style for the final icons was selected and paired the book with a bookmark and coffee mug to create the system. A larger vector format and a raster bitmap format of each icon was created for the final product.
